Before I left for vacation, I found 17 lbs. of Restoration Hardware catalogs at my door.  It must be time for the 2014 source books!

TIDBITS & TWINE 2014 Restoration Hardware Source Books

Clearly, there were too many to bring with me on my trip, but I did manage to bring and browse through the 2014 Interiors catalog (that’s how I spent my “me” time while on vacation).  There are so many inspiring and beautiful new home decor items available for the summer; I love this time of year!  So today I’m sharing a few of my new favorite finds.  While they might not all be quite my style, I can still appreciate the beauty and interest of each one and thought you might enjoy them, too. {Note that this is not a sponsored post – just sharing with you some things I love!}

1950’s Iron Wingback Chair

Talk about a statement piece!  Can’t you just imagine it in an entryway hall?  I give it a 10 for visual interest, but I’m not sure how comfortable it would be…

19th C. European Intaglios

I’m a fan of framed objects and these plaster intaglios, with their intricate design mounted on black linen, are so interesting!  And decorating with black makes such a sophisticated statement.  {Intaglio: a design incised or engraved into a material.)

18th C. American Tri-Dial Clock Cloche

Three of my favorite things – clocks, cloches and an industrial look – what could be better?!

Barrel-Back Upholstered Swan Chair

Look carefully and you’ll see that this chair has carved swan arms!  Plus, I love extra detailing, like the puff tufting.

Le Gillon Chandelier

Wouldn’t this fixture look gorgeous in an entryway or at the top of the stairs?

Montpellier Bath Cabinet

I love this elegant storage solution and in a bathroom, closed storage is a bonus!

This marble-topped serving piece is sure to be a conversation starter!Finial Sideboard & Hutch

Looking through the product catalogs not only keeps me up-to-date about what new products are available, but also gives insight to trends and provides tons of styling inspiration.  I don’t have any current projects that require any of the products above, but that doesn’t keep me from admiring and enjoying them!

  1. Kim,
I love the selections you’ve shared. I love visiting their store but opted out of the catalogs this year since I felt terrible putting last year’s in the recycle bin. Maybe I’ll have to drop by the store and pick up one or two.
    Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Karen – Honestly, I love Restoration Hardware but they put out way too many catalogs! I could never read through all of them and many of them overlap as to the products that are showcased. If you swing by to pick one up, though, try the “Interiors” one since it seems to showcase the majority of the products.
